Microsoft Band 2 owners experiencing syncing issues with the activity tracker’s mobile app

Microsoft Band 2 owners are experiencing problems with the device’s mobile app that is used to sync the activity tracker with iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows 10 devices. The problem is preventing Microsoft Band 2 users from seeing the fitness data that accumulated on their Band 2 device from appearing on their smartphone via the app. When the user tries to call up this data, he/she will see a network connectivity error. This could indicate that the problem is due to a Microsoft server-side error.
